Portuguese Center of Photography in Porto

If you are in Porto, there are some exhibitions now happening at CPF (Portuguese Center of Photography) that you can’t miss.

Exhibition “O Poeta da Reportagem”, Ryszard Kapuściński (1932-2007) until 21/04/2013

The panels present photographs illustrating the places of action in Kapuściński's books. A part of which is focused in the Angolan war photographs, which the author described in the book “Mais um dia de vida” (Another day of life). The exhibit, composed by 35 images, will emphasize the work dedicated to the Portuguese speaking countries.

Exhibition “12.12.12” until 21/04/2013

12 portraits made by different photographers with an overview of Portugal 2012. The views can be political, economical or social, but always honest and critical.

Exhibition “Català – Roca, Obras-primas” until 07/04/2013

The work of Francesc Català-Roca is the cornerstone of documentary photography in Spain.
