If you prefer something less radical let yourself go upstream in the famous Douro cruises to discover and enjoy the full potential of the region!

There is already a considerable number of companies engaged in conducting tours on the Douro River from Barca d'Alva to the city of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. You can get to know these cities during the morning and embark on these cruises during the afternoon, or take a trip for eight days in order to better understand the surrounding region, which includes the Douro Wine Region, World Heritage Site.

Offers are huge! Therefore, when visiting the city of Porto, go down to Ribeira and enjoy the beautiful boats and find all information about the tours that you can enjoy.

Even the port of Leixões invests heavily in cruises. Every year this port receives thousands of passengers around the world eager to visit all the nooks and charms of the area. It has a fine wooden passenger station which alludes to the hull of a ship and it is an architectural and historical heritage of the city of Matosinhos.
